Defining public health: A multidisciplinary approach

The revised framework from 2020 explicitly centers equity throughout all services, acknowledging that systemic barriers like poverty and discrimination must be removed to achieve optimal health for all.

They adapt national and state guidelines to local contexts, addressing unique community needs and cultural considerations. This multilevel structure ensures both global coordination and local responsiveness.
Challenges in modern public health
